Retallak Lodge is located in eastern B.C. Canada, and is home to some rather well built and varied purpose built mountain bike single track. Staying at the lodge makes life pretty simple for a couple days, rising around 7 to be fed a great breakfast, before loading up in either a van or unimog (you choose), then doing shuttle laps of the mountains diverse network of trails. The day finishes when ever your done and is followed up with some spectacular food offerings. After that its beers and random games before bed and repeat. Definitely worth a look if your downhill mtb inclined and happen to be in B.C.
Work sent me up to Whistler B.C. to take part in creation of some marketing assets and while there we got a good chance to look around. Took a few pictures on our return back to Van before heading back to California. Taken near Squamish…. cant remember the valley name but our buddy that lives there says they shoot movies up there a lot…. Nikon D4s 24-70mm f/2.8.
Had the great fortune to take a trip up to Whistler and talk with a bunch of Pro Outdoor Photographers as well as see some of the premier bike events going on as part of the 10 day long Crankworx festival. Have to say, that place surely does know how to pack it in. Great time, met some really great people and saw some jaw dropping riding.
