Southern Utah (after OR) Day 2, August 2015

Up and at em bright and early, 9am start cough, the next day. Green River, the town, is sort of split between the hustle and bustle side (east side) of town and the slowly decaying, used to be fantastical, side of town. Had to stop and explore a little around some of the old signs and buildings that are slowly giving way to the desert. Then on to Wild Horse and Bell Slot Canyons just outside of Goblin Valley. Super fun day hike, around 6 miles on mixed terrain, with some fairly easy bridging through slots to keep my shoes dry. Decided to take a variation (non existent but oh well…) to link the two canyons. Added a lot of climbing and navigation but sure did make it more fun (harder). Took about 4.5 hours to complete and it was around 92F when i got back to the car. Super fun as always in Southern Utah. Cant wait to get back and see more!!
