Part two of the ride over Memorial Day weekend. All I can say was it was a long day, starting early at Eureka Dunes, and ending late in Santa Rosa. Saline Hot Springs is out of this world amazing…
Leaving Eureka Dunes around 7:30am. Trying to beat the heat.
The rock steps at Steel Pass. Not super hard.
On the road, stoppin of course to take pictures of Joshua Trees

Love the color, even in the middle of the day
Totally got photo bombed.
Heading down hill towards Saline Hot Springs
The first hot spring i came to. Very primative.
The next hot spring was built up around the 60s and was nicer. The palms there created a cool little chill room in the shade.
History of the hot pool creation.
Went further and arrived at the main spring area
Arrive at main springs.
This place is magical.
No drums after 10pm?!
Even has a library.
Plenty of options for soaking or cleaning up.
Kids bath had cool water for the wee ones to hang out in. Right behind it is a pond with large gold fish in it…
One of the main pools, complete with crystals and hanging over head shade.
The lawn area for lounging.
The Bat Sign. Its bat country…
Driving up and out of Saline Valley heading north.
Shoot! Two of my fav things in this picture.
Through the view finder.
Secret possible future camp site over looking Mono Lake.
And remember kids…
