The feet of Buddha, Thailand.

Hasselblad 500cm 80mmCF, Kodak Portra 160VC.
Standing Buddha, The old city part of Ayutthaya, Thailand. March 2011.

This shot called for patience. There are these huge standing Buddha statues in the old city ruins and as you can imagine every Tom, Dick and Harry wants to stop and get their picture taken in front of them. Smile point click. Smile point click. Smile point click.

So I wait for the waves and waves of tour groups to get through and finally find enough of a gap to set up, meter it and get the shot. Everyone was lookng at me funny though as I had the camera pointing down while everyone else was looking up.
